Zandu Kumari Asava No 1 description
Kumaryasava is a liquid, self generated alcohol preparation. The main ingredient being, kumari or aloe vera.
Its usage:
1.Bala, Varna, Agni Deepana – improves strength, skin complexion and digestion power.
2.Bruhmana – It provides nourishment to the body. Useful in weight gain treatment
3.Rochana – improves taste, useful in anorexia
4.Vrushya – acts as aphrodisiac
5.Paktishoola nivarana – useful in relieving abdominal pain due to gastritis and digestive tract disorders
6.Udara roga – useful in ascites, constipation
7.Ugra Kshaya – useful in chronic tubverculosis
8.Meha – urinary tract disorders, diabetes
9.Udavarta – bloating
10.Apasmara – useful in epilepsy treatment
11.Mutrakruchra – dysuria – difficulty in urination
12.Apasmruti – useful to improve memory
13.Shukradosha – useful in improving quality of semen and sperm
14.Ashmari – useful in urinary calculi (stones)
15.Krimi – useful in intestinal worm infestation
16.Raktapitta – useful in bleeding disorders
Dosage:
10 – 25 ml, twice or thrice daily with equal quantity of warm water. after food.
over-dose might cause gastric irritation.
