Plantago M. has considerable clinical reputation in the treatment of earache, toothache, and enuresis (bed wetting). Sharp pain in eyes, reflex from decayed teeth or inflammation of middle ear, eyeball very tender to touch, pain plays between teeth and ears, pyorrhea alveolaris, depression and insomnia of chronic nicotinism, causes an aversion to tobacco.

Plantago M.tincture is great for infections and pain relief, emergency remedy for toothache, gumboil, gum abscess prior to being able to get to the dentist. Use at first signs of infection.It helps in toothache when teeth are sensitive and sore to touch, teeth feel too long and is worse by cold, air and contact. Toothache is better while eating. There is also aching in decayed teeth. There is toothache with reflex neuralgia of eyelids.
