Description:Chandrodaya Varti is an Ayurvedic collyrium medicine, used in the treatment of early stage of cataract, pterygium, growth over the eyes, etc. This should be used strictly under medical supervision.

Chandroday Varti uses: It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of early stage of cataract, pterygium, growth over the eyes, Nyctalopia, Granular Eyelid disorder and itching in the eyes.

Chandroday Varti dosage:
It is applied as a paste or collyrium on the inner side of the eyelids.

How long to use?
It can be used for a period of 1 – 2 months, based on doctor’s advice.

Chandrodaya Varti side effects:

Its usage in higher dose, or without medical supervision may cause eye irritation. In such case, wash your eyes thoroughly with sufficient quantity of water and call your doctor.

Vacha – Acorus calamus
Kushta – Saussurea lappa
Pippali – Long pepper fruit – Piper longum
Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum
Vibhitaki – Belliric Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia bellirica
Shankhanabhi
Manashila – Purified and processed Realgar (Arsenic di sulphide)
Aja Ksheera – Goat milk

The fine powder of above ingredients is made into paste with goat milk and used for collyrium application.
